The Star Inn at Weaverthorpe (2.5m) is a Family Friendly Pub with a great atmosphere.
The Blue Bell Country Inn also at Weaverthorpe (2.5m) offers a fine dining experience with great food, & great service. Weekends are busy & booking is essential, but lunches are good value & mid week evenings almost always have availability.
The Triton Inn at Sledmere (3.7m) is a Traditional Country Inn which forms part of Sledmere Estate. They serve a good selection of Sandwich Platters at lunch time & good sized portions of traditional Pub Food.

The Anvil Inn at Sawdon (14m) Characterful Country Inn serving an eclectic mix of dishes made using only the freshest locally sourced ingredients.
The Blacksmith’s Arms at Westow (13m) is a lovely little country pub just off the A64. Why not call in here on your way to or from York? Their lunchtime sandwiches are served with uniquely presented chips & salad.
The Fairfax Arms at Gilling East (23m) is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a visit if you are out in The Howardian Hills.
The Fox & Hounds Country Inn at Sinnington (24m) This 18th Century Coaching inn is now a well established country inn & restaurant with a reputation for good food & service.
The Pipe & Glass Inn at South Dalton (20m) Chef James Mackenzie was awarded East Yorkshire's only Michelin Star in 2010 & has retained it ever since. Unpretentious in style it retains the atmosphere of a country pub while serving great food with traditional Yorkshire hospitality.
The Wellington Inn at Lund (18m) is a proper pub serving good food, real ales & fine wines. It offers dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
